The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Sr. Manager of Workforce Planning. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing workforce strategies and plans to establish efficiencies to operating model to ensure that Valvoline has the right talent, skills, and resources to meet our current and future business needs.

 

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Conduct data analysis and forecasting to find efficiencies and determine future workforce needs, including identification of gaps in skills, knowledge, and capacity.
  • Collaborate with senior management and HR leadership to understand organizational goals and objectives to align workforce planning strategies accordingly. Provides guidance and support to HR and management teams on workforce planning best practices and trends.
  • Design and implement workforce metrics and dashboards to track and report on key performance indicators related to workforce planning.
  • Lead the development and implementation of workforce planning processes and tools, including workforce analytics and modeling. This will also include the rollout and execution of new labor management system across chain.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning strategies and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies in all workforce planning activities, while staying informed about industry trends and developments in workforce planning to share knowledge and insights with the organization.
  • Create, maintain, and update labor standards, through time studies, measurements, and occasionally third-party studies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Experience in labor management/workforce planning
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Ability to adapt to change and navigate through organizational shifts
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
