The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a GCOC (Great Canadian Oil Change) Customer Care Representative Sr. In this role, you will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. They accept ownership for effectively answering customer inquiries regarding billing/fulfillment issues, products and services, experience complaint issues, payment allocations, and invoicing while keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

 

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and chats in a timely manner.
  • Manage payments, billing/fulfillment, product support, and service questions.
  • Identify and address escalated customers’ needs, clarifying information, researching every request, providing solutions and/or alternatives, and issuing fulfillment as needed.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and coordinating communications with GCOC field employees and Valvoline customers.
  • Facilitate investigation for damage claims and make payments to vendors, customers, and providers on behalf of Valvoline as required.\
  • Process payment allocations and ensure accuracy.
  • Collect internal and external feedback and comparing with data to bring solutions to the management team.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.  

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
  • Minimum of three years in a customer support role
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with computers, mobile devices, and software applications
  • Understanding of financial acumen and accuracy
  • Ability to assist others in solving complex problems and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Leadership skills
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
